Turning a microbiology breakthrough into a product industries can trust.
Spore.Bio replaces days of lab testing with an analysis that takes minutes. Since 2024, we have shaped its positioning, identity, product and films so that a breakthrough in microbiology reads as a product industries can trust.
背景
Founded in Paris in 2023, Spore.Bio combines biophotonics and artificial intelligence to detect bacteria on production lines in minutes instead of days. It starts with food and beverage, with pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to follow.
The company was entering a conservative industry, used to slow lab protocols and wary of new claims, where competitors spoke only to experts. Its first machine had to earn trust long before customers could test it.
任务
We helped the founders frame three challenges: reassure an industry wary of new protocols, stand apart from competitors’ expert tone, and claim leadership in a field still running on outdated systems.
Our answer puts the product and its benefits first, in a tone confident enough to place Spore.Bio in Pasteur’s lineage. The central idea came from the technology itself: a new way of seeing, where light reveals what the eye cannot and AI makes it understood.
成果
That idea runs through every layer of the work. The identity builds on cells and connections, and the films move from the factory floor to the data behind each result. In the machine, light becomes the interface: a single strip tracks each analysis in real time, turning a lab instrument into a communicative object.
Across successive versions, we have kept that language while preparing the product for industrial production, from architecture to manufacturing partners.
